Replacement Moisture Chamber® Eyecup

This is an excellent product except for one big problem, which is that the magnets rust very quickly. Even if one is very careful when cleaning and avoids liquid at all times, rust sets in within a month...A new eye cup including shipping comes to nearly £50 so if you do this twice a year, you are adding £100 to the cost. Also, people using these have dry eyes so will be putting in drops or may have punctual plugs so there is bound to be some moisture, that is indeed the point of these glasses. The manufacturer needs to come up with a solution such as some non-rusting metal or alloy for the magnets. I know a few other people who have tried them and given up for this reason. It's a shame, as they do work but the rust on the magnets, both on the eyecup and the frames, is a significant problem and completely independent of how one uses them. I have been using them for two years and have scrupulously avoided any liquid. Others have done the same..Please can you try and fix this.

Only had my Marina style glasses one week, but am absolutely sold on them. Outdoors, I feel 98% less wind on my eyes and that's a blessing. In the evening, I tolerate the AC on, along with a fan in the room. I'm almost not using any OTC drops, where I was putting them in 15-20 times a day. (Still on Restasis, warm compresses and omega-3, btw). I am already recommending the Ziena glasses to my friends who suffer and have shown them to 2 of my 3 eye doctors to spread the word. Feel so lucky to have discovered them via internet, while searching "moisture chamber" glasses.
